For climbers a unique diet is required. Climbers want to have muscle for powerful, strong moves, but they also want to keep a low weight so they can move around delicately on small holds. Therefore, the best diet would be one that is low in calories, but high in protein. Protein helps build muscles and helps your body recover. It is key to note that protein comes from plants as well as meat. If having a vegetarian diet or being careful of cholesterol is important to you, then use plant protein.
To get started, we are going to share a delicious meal that we recently made that is high in protein, low in calories, and easy to make. It is a Mexican wrap. If you are vegetarian, consider switching the meat for beans. Black beans are close in calories and protein.

The ingredients work best if selected a certain way. There are some tortilla wraps that come in low calories.
This kind for instance is only 50 calories a wrap, but 5 grams of protein.
We picked ground chicken because it is low in calories but high in protein as well.
This kind is 120 calories and 22 grams of protein. Therefore, we are already at 27 grams of protein with only 170 calories.
A little low-fat shredded cheese of the right kind brings you to around 220 calories and 33 grams of protein. Hot sauce you can get with zero calories if you look at the labels. Taco seasoning adds about 20. Lettuce will only add about 5 calories. So for about 245 calories, you can get 33 grams of protein and a tasty lunch!

All you do is heat the ground chicken on a pan until white. Add in taco seasoning as packet specifies. Then put a wrap on a plate, put on your toppings, fold in the top and bottom and roll it up like a burrito. Then cut in half.
